We’ve been having fun making YouTube clips from our fabulous podcast guests. So, we’re republishing some of our best clips.
The first comes from the beautiful voice of Melanie McGauran. She tells the story of her larger than life friend, Lissa McKinley. As Melanie tells about this woman who was an incredibly bright light, we get to see the power of gratitude and joy, even in the face of cancer.
For more see Episode 74, Remembering friends with Melanie McGauran.
And in a perfect pairing – something like wine and cheese or apples and peanut butter (I can hear all the dissenting opinions – do you prefer apples and cheese?), Vicki tells a story about the guidance we get from our loved ones, even from the beyond.
For more see Episode 70, “A” is for Ambivalence with Vicki and Wynne

Melanie’s recap of her friend Lissa’s experience as a doctor/professor with cancer and how she delt with it was sad yet joyous. Her invaluable life’s work to improve the doctor/patient relationship has surely impacted many. I wish Melanie all the best with her health challenges. Vickie, your account of your dream, thoughts, and what you envisioned revealed you have a lot on your mind! Hopefully, your father’s wisdom will come through for you. 🙂

both great choices to share today. Lissa will never know how many she has impacted and Melanie’s own journey was helped by their connection, open to life’s possibilities and not waiting for it to happen. Vicky, your gentle way of sharing what was bothering you in that relationship led you to put up boundaries that worried you . And the answer arrived unexpected. How life happens

Thank you, Beth! Wynne is so good at mining episodes that are naturally aligned. I’m honored that she chose my story about my dad and his wisdom to ride along with Melanie’s poignant story about Lissa. xo to you! 🥰

Wow, beautiful clips, with potent messages. I appreciate the vulnerability in both stories. Taking the time to step back and grasp the larger picture, allowing the more loving view of life to take the lead. Vicki says, “those little moments of grace, easing yourself off the hook you put yourself on.” I love that. Hugs, C

I really enjoyed this episode regarding dreams, Wynne and Vicki. It is so rich with interpretation. Every action and word means something, it’s just figuring it out. I’m going to go back and look at past episodes where either of you share dreams. It’s a super fascinating topic and can be SO enlightening. (On a side note, THANK you, and I’ll leave it there. 🙂 )

Thank you, Melanie! That’s awesome input and feedback. We’ve done a little on the topic, but it might be a good one to lean into a little more. We loved visiting with you! Til next time! xo! 🥰

Aww, I’m just thinking out loud, but everybody dreams and sometimes shares them with others because they want to figure it out. It’s a universal theme which could be interesting. Thanks, Vicki! 😍
