These two snippets packed a punch: Stein with his encouragement to make lots of friends throughout life while preparing the world for generations to come. And, Brooks’ commencement comment that in exploring and in life, “discipline does work.” Thanks Vicki and Wynne! 🙂

I like Taco Tuesday, I’m a big fan, but I think like Two Again Tuesday even more! The beauty of an unpredictable life with Dr. Stein and you two chatting about life — oh, so good! I could get used to this! So many nuggets for me to reflect on and spur my own writing. Love it. We gotta make this a worldwide trend. Move over Taco Tuesday! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😎

Loved all the nuggets of wisdom Dr. Stein shared. His thoughts on change and the loss of wisdom are absolutely true. Though he’s accurate in stating that prediction is becoming more difficult due to the rapid pace of change, in fact we will find that prediction is becoming more accurate thanks to the machines that are now doing it for us. Consider storm predictions. These are no longer calculated by humans. Predictive Analysis is a huge field. And superbly interesting. Though still imperfect due to the human quotient, but that’s another conversation.
And as Dr. Stein relays in his anecdote about the blacksmith. We do all need to move with the tide. Jorge Borges (yes, Argentinian) did say, “Nothing is built on stone; All is built on sand, but we must build as if the sand were stone.”
Such a long message, but there’s so much to consider and think about here. Thanks ladies and thanks Dr. Stein! Very interesting!

Oh, I love your take on this, Alegria. Predictive analysis. You are right – we can crunch data faster then ever.
Then you pull in a great Borges quote about how to navigate regardless of certainty – so good. Thanks for listening and contributing such a thoughtful comment!
